The Vucciria Market of Palermo
The Vucciria market is a good place to buy fruit, vegetables and fresh fish, and to eat. On both sides of the square are two restaurants which offer cheap menu of the day. In one of the lanes which lead to Corso Vittorio Emanuele there is a small rosticceria selling a bit of everything: from bread to crocchette, to fried vegetables, fish exc… you can stay in or order a meal and eat it outside. In the same area are also numerous stands which prepare sandwiches, fried fish or octopus salads.
